Module I: Introduction to the Geographic Information System (GIS) and Getting Started with ARCGIS X.X – GPS USE
OBJECTIVES: To provide participants with the basic foundations on the concept of “Geographical Information System (GIS)” and its application in various fields. This module prepares the future user to become familiar with a GIS software including ARCGIS x.x which remains the leader in this field and the manipulation of the GPS.
The participant will learn how to collect the spatial data, organize the data and create a database (GEODATA BASE).
He will also learn to make the spatialized queries in order to guide his decision.
- At the end of this course a certificate will be given to each participant.
